hi, I'm jodie, thank you so much for taking the time to visit hmly's eco home decor site!

if you are like me then you’ll agree that you feel happier and healthier when you find ways to incorporate nature into your home. in our home, our kitchen is green, the living room is terracotta, our bedroom headboard is a cloud print, and we have an ever-growing houseplant jungle. however, you don’t need to go crazy in order to bring a sprinkling of the outside world indoors. adding dried flowers, a painting of palm trees, a seagrass basket or a cotton macrame wall hanging are all easy, subtle nods to nature. 

it’s been my dream from the very beginning to curate a range of high quality, handmade home décor products to help you feel closer to nature at home. named after that warm, cosy feeling, hmly showcases a range of independent artists, designers and makers, with a focus on handmade and sustainable products that effortlessly add character and make your house feel more homely.

as well as working with small businesses to bring you homeware products that you won’t find from a quick google search, i have designed our own hmly range of robust baskets made from natural materials, like water hyacinth, seagrass and bamboo. i have consciously taken the time to get to know all the makers that we work with, ensuring that the materials they use are ethically sourced, eco-friendly and vegan. i am also really careful to avoid plastic in our own products and packaging. 

i’ve been designing, making and selling products to the uk high street for the last ten years and my products have been stocked in next, tkmaxx, homesense, urban outfitters, paperchase and fenwick. i really hope you love the high quality products that we make and sell and i’m here if you have any questions at all, or you just want to say hi!
